Shiatsu is an Asian form of bodywork that is designed to promote the harmonious flow of Qi (chi/Ki) throughout the body.  It involves rocking, stretching and pressure points.  It is received while wearing loose clothing to facilitate easy movement and stretching.  The form of Shiatsu that we learned is intended to free up blockages throughout the body rather than diagnose specific ailments and treat those ailments.   You will find that you’ll experience a feeling of full body relaxation and well being after a Shiatsu massage.
